It was truly special to have our wedding highlighted in Ceremony Magazine.

Our photographers Tammy and Mark (Memoire Studios) were so warm and very talented. They really captured the joy of the day. My Illustrations were also highlighted in the magazine.

Allyson's room

I thought I would start sharing more about my creative journey. 
I recently stopped working on the production side of Feature Animation to nurture my creative process. 

It's a road I started in graduate school at UCLA but reflecting back, I realize I was very unprepared. I wandered through some of my classes not having a real destination. 

A series of professional and personal ups and downs have made that destination a little more clear. 

I am constantly refining my creative process. I have cleaned up my daily routine and realized that the only way to solve creative problems is to "work" through them. (reading US Weekly and checking FB isn't really working through a creative problem, so I've learned the hard way). 

I'm currently working on concepts for a children's book titled Allyson in the Island (written by Megan McDonald).
